Office Spotlight: Civil Engineering Services in Wichita
This week, we want to highlight our Wichita office’s recent growth and the services they have to offer. This office specializes in providing civil engineering, survey, geotechnical engineering, and materials testing and inspection services for various types of development projects throughout Kansas and Oklahoma.
We opened our Wichita branch in the summer of 2014 downtown at 200 N. Emporia Suite 100. Wichita is the largest city in Kansas with over 390,000 residents. Our office is located near the confluence of the Arkansas and Little Arkansas Rivers. This area is known for its culture, history and entertainment districts.
The Wichita office continues to grow and advance its staff professionally. In the past six months, our office has increased by nearly 30% in size. Recently, Shawn Bryan, PE, CFM, was promoted to Office Director; Kate Mikhaylichenko attained her Professional Engineer license; and Trenton Heinen attained his Professional Surveyor license and became Department Manager of Surveying Services.
We have hired multiple industry professionals in our surveying, drafting, testing, engineering, and administrative departments, which allows us to continue to grow our presence and availability throughout the Wichita metro area.
Our team has worked on various development projects across the Wichita area including the Union Station redevelopment, multiple projects at McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas Gas network expansion, the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center and more. Currently, the office has several new and exciting projects including Rushwood Senior Center, various Family Dollar stores, Spectra Student Housing along with a variety of residential subdivisions in the metropolitan area.
