Kaw Valley Engineering has an immediate opening for a Geotechnical Engineer (Entry Level).
Job Description
Primary role is to assist the Engineer with subsurface investigations in support of geotechnical design and evaluation efforts.
Some significant time may be spent working with the drill crew, logging exploratory borings, and evaluating samples in the field.
Submitting utilities locates and aiding in the preparation of drilling assignments.
Performing laboratory tests needed for engineering analysis.
Preparation of reports under Engineers’ supervision by entering boring logs into software.
Opportunity to learn about Environmental Phase 1 Reports.
Excellent position for someone interested in becoming a Geotechnical Engineer or Geologist.
Qualifications
Engineering or Geology Degree Preferred
