Hobbies and Interests: Spending time with my family at the lake, hiking in the Colorado Rockies and home improvement projects.
Favorite Project: The Fort Leavenworth Family Housing Privatization Project involved the demolition and construction of over 900 new and renovated residences for on-post housing. The project provided unique opportunities such as the design of military installation specific security design measures, as well as working closely with multiple state, federal and Department of Army regulatory agencies during design, permitting and construction phases.

Hobbies and Interests: I love watching sports! My family and I regularly attend local sporting events; we feel it is important to support local kids. I also like kayaking and walking by the lake.
Favorite Project: I started working at Kaw Valley Engineering over 20 years ago when I was a 17-year-old high school intern. Kaw Valley Engineering has allowed me to grow from a part-time employee and full-time student at Kansas State University, earning my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, to Director of Drafting Services for the entire company. I have personally worked on over 1,300 projects ranging from simple lot surveys, housing developments, commercial developments to large highway improvements and now lend my experience to the talented staff as I help them grow in their individual careers.

Hobbies and Interests: The Denver Broncos, vinyl records, camping, fishing and treasure hunting at garage sales.
Favorite Project: Iron Avenue in Salina, Kansas, was the first project I was really able to help out with. The project, which had unique design and landscape elements, required me to design materials for a public forum. Being involved in the forum allowed me to see another viewpoint of everything we were doing. I was able to watch our engineer engage with the public, hear their hopes and concerns, and observe real-time solutions as he worked with the City staff. This project gives me a great sense of appreciation for the work we do every time I drive down that road.
