Leon Osbourn Attains Florida PE License

JUNCTION CITY, KANSAS—Leon Osbourn, PE, PS, President of Kaw Valley Engineering, recently became licensed to practice engineering in Florida. Kaw Valley Engineering is proud to have 18 Professional Engineers licensed to practice engineering across the country as well as 9 Professional Surveyors licensed across the Midwest.

Leon has over 45 years of industry experience and is a founding partner of Kaw Valley Engineering. He has led the firm with client satisfaction and service as the main focus and goal of the company, and he continues that goal as the company expands work into other states.

“It falls down to: we follow our clients,” he said. “That should be in every field—surveying, engineering, geotechnical and materials [testing].”

With that work ethic in mind, Kaw Valley Engineering prides itself in following Leon’s lead to do all that we can to make sure our clients are satisfied.

Leon is a member of the Junction City/Geary County Economic Development Council, the Association of the United States Army, the American Consulting Engineers Council and the American Public Works Association.

Leon graduated from Kansas State University in 1979 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He became a licensed Professional Surveyor in 1982 and became a licensed Professional Engineer in 1984.

Along with new PE license in Florida, Leon is licensed to practice engineering in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, Colorado, Kentucky, Illinois, Iowa and New Mexico. He is licensed to practice professional surveying in Kansas and Missouri.
