Our Salina Office Has Moved!

New Salina, Kansas Office has opened

SALINA, KANSAS – The Salina office has found a new home. Outgrowing the previous two locations in a short time, having a space to grow to meet the current and future needs of clients was paramount.

“We have outgrown the two previous locations which is a testament to our office’s growth,” said Justin Owens, Office Director of the Salina Office. “[The new office] provides us space to continue to grow.”

The original office opened its doors in 2008. In 2015, it was decided to move to a newer, larger office so the team can continue to serve existing clients and bring in new, more challenging work as well. The success seen caused Justin to look for an even larger space soon after.

“I knew that we would be out growing our previous location when I became office director in 2019. I began browsing options then and got serious about it in early 2021,” Justin said.

The new building not only helps the Kaw Valley Engineering team to meet the needs of clients but it also brings a “wow” factor for those who visit.

“Our new building is very nice and looks professional,” said Justin. “Our previous building was lacking in quality and did not project the image that I imagined for our company.”

It was a challenge to find the perfect fit for the Salina team. Needing an office that can work for both office employees and lab employees was a tall task that Justin focused on during his search.

“It is not easy finding a building that serves both our office staff and our lab/field staff,” Justin explained. “We wanted a place that had both office space and shop space with an overhead door. Not an easy combination to find.”

The team was excited to move from the older, smaller office to the newer, larger building. But it took a team effort.

“I want to say thank you to all our employees that pitched in and gutted through the chaos that is inevitable when moving,” Justin said. “Everyone’s help was greatly appreciated and helped this to be a smooth transition.”

The new Salina office is located at 1627 Sunflower Lane in Salina, Kansas.
