Our office in Garden City, Kansas now open
Recently, Kaw Valley Engineering opened the doors to our seventh location in the Midwest.
Located at 602 E. Fulton St. in Garden City, Kansas, Kaw Valley Engineering now has a home for the inspection and testing engineers in the area.
Office manager, Chris Cole, recalls the path to the office’s opening, “When I was hired, opening an office in Garden City was something we hoped would be possible in the future.”
Kaw Valley Engineering is excited to be a part of this new community. When Kaw Valley Engineering was founded in 1982, it was important to our leadership to be a pillar in every community we can serve. Having an office in Garden City is a testament to that promise. The area has seen an increased need for our services, and we are ready to serve.
With the increased workloads in the area and the incoming staff, it was apparent that a new office was needed sooner rather than later. Reflecting on the growth of work in the area, Chris reflected on selection of the office, “As our workload increased, it became extremely difficult to work without a physical location here.”
When searching for an office space, it was important to meet the needs of the office staff as well as the needs of the testing team.
“This building has the office space and the lab space which suits our purposes well,” Chris said. “We began moving in around the middle of March and are nearly complete.”
With several projects in the region, such as Montezuma High School, the Western Kansas Corridor Development, McCarty Dairy, and the River Valley Train Terminal, it was time to expand the firm’s offices to meet the needs of the communities we serve. Kaw Valley Engineering is excited to head west and open our doors to more communities to serve.
