Office tower project joins Overland Park skyline
Kaw Valley Engineering is excited to see Phase I of Shamrock Trading Corporation’s three-phase expansion finish up in Overland Park, Kansas. We assisted this expansion of the Overland Park skyline by providing civil engineering services, construction materials testing and surveying for their new eight-story office tower.
Design for the new Shamrock Trading Corp. office tower began in August 2018 and finished in December 2019. Construction began April 2019 and recently finished up.
Project Manager Jim Anderson, PE, who works in our Lenexa office, said the project was unique because it is a “highly visible” project located on 93rd and Metcalf, where the building will stand out to passersby. He enjoyed working on this large-scale project with Bell/Knott and Associates, a Kansas City architectural firm.
“It’s been nice to be involved with something that takes a lot of collaboration,” Anderson said.
A longer list of services provided to the 250,000 square foot development include: civil design, construction materials testing, as-built drawings, grading, utility and storm sewer.
Kaw Valley Engineering is proud to have contributed to Phase I of the Shamrock Trading Corporation project.
