Surveying Our Communities For Tomorrow
This National Surveyors Week, we wanted to showcase the importance that surveyors have–and have always had–in our communities. Surveyors are vital to our communities by conducting surveys, staking for construction and much more. Life would be a lot different without surveyors, says one of our Survey Services Supervisors, and we’re proud that we have some of the best and most creative surveyors at Kaw Valley Engineering. Here’s how we celebrated.
Kansas Governor Laura Kelly issued a proclamation declaring this week National Surveyors Week. Recognizing surveyors for their essential work in our communities is important to us.
Robert Hess, Survey Services Supervisor in our Lenexa office, explains what he loves about surveying for National Surveyors Week: “I don’t regret a day at all choosing the profession that I’ve chosen.”
Our surveying crews use the latest equipment and technology to get the most accurate data for projects. They pride themselves on developing creative approaches to complex projects and not only support our own engineering and geotechnical departments, but also provide services to many local communities.
We’re thankful to have many talented surveyors and survey crews at our firm who work on a variety of projects from start to finish, from an initial survey to staking for construction. Our surveyors, along with our field crews, use the latest technology to provide the highest quality of surveying services to all of our clients. As the world changes, we know surveyors will be there along the way to survey for tomorrow.
