Trenton Heinen Becomes a Licensed Professional Surveyor
WICHITA, KANSAS— With a goal to become a licensed Professional Surveyor before he turned 30, Trenton Heinen in our Wichita office recently achieved that goal and attained his Professional Surveyor’s license in Kansas. Our newest Professional Surveyor has worked at Kaw Valley Engineering for almost seven years.
As our newest Professional Surveyor, Trenton’s licensure in our Wichita survey department adds more opportunities and an extra level of survey expertise that our firm can provide to projects.
Trenton stated that he appreciates current relationships he has with clients as well as the opportunity to expand and develop new relationships. He explained that the Wichita office tries to create one-on-one relationships with clients, going above and beyond the typical survey services that other firms may provide.
Now that he attained his goal of becoming a licensed Professional Surveyor before the age of 30, Trenton’s future goals are to become licensed in the surrounding states to expand work possibilities for himself and Kaw Valley Engineering.
Trenton started working at Kaw Valley Engineering in 2014 after receiving a degree in Computer Aided Drafting Design from the Manhattan Area Technical College. In 2017, he became an Intern Land Surveyor in Kansas at Kaw Valley Engineering. With experience in both drafting and surveying, Trenton provides an extra skillset to the projects he works on.
Licensed Professional Surveyors help protect the public and improve society by verifying that a surveyor is qualified, educated and experienced to sign and seal documents such as land boundaries, plats and surveys. Kaw Valley Engineering now employs nine licensed Professional Surveyors in multiple offices along with 15 survey crews to provide accurate and fast survey services for our clients.
