Kaw Valley Engineering maintains and operates fully equipped soils and materials laboratories capable of performing a wide range of tests to support geotechnical and construction needs. Our AASHTO accredited laboratory in Lenexa operates under the oversight of our professional engineering staff.
Our AWS-CWI technicians are available to observe of steel and precast concrete erection, shop fabrication, welders’ certification testing and review of welding procedures associated with your project. Our NDT services include ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle and dye penetrant in-house with radiographic service being coordinated with associated firms.
Our special inspectors work under the direct supervision of the professional engineers within our materials testing department. Our testing and reporting protocols are tailored to the requirements of each local building official and the needs of the client. Our primary concern is to provide clear communication so that any deviations from the plans are addressed by the appropriate design professional and the project is completed in accordance with the project plans and specifications.
